Test Automation Engineer - Python/Linux/Network/SDETCambridge
£50k - £65k + stock options + benefits
With multiple new products in the pipeline we are investing heavily in our Agile Development Teams, and are now recruiting for Test Automation Engineers to push the automation strategy forwards within the team.
As a member of the Automation Team you will be responsible for high levels of test coverage and extensive test planning to be carried out by you and the automation team.
THE ROLEDeveloping test harnesses and test cases using PythonYou will be responsible for effective test planning to meet test needsYou will have a technical involvement in the development and execution of test casesYou will work on the existing automation frameworks and look at new features or frameworks moving forwardsNECESSARY SKILLS You will have a proven background in software automation testing, as well as test developmentYou will have strong Linux knowledgeYou will have strong knowledge of Python (other languages can be considered)Degree educatedAny exposure to network based technologies or protocols would be highly advantageous, as would any knowledge of virtualisation technologies.
