ACCOUNT DIRECTOR VACANCY MANCHESTERCompetitive Salary to be discussed on applicationI am currently recruiting for an experienced Account Director with knowledge of Development Plans (ADP) and cross selling.You will look after existing accounts- nurturing valuable business relationships.DESIRABLEIdeal candidates would have Telecoms industry experience and previous experience, in helping grow accounts - you would need to demonstrate this on your CV.Face to face role, someone who likes to be out on the road meeting clients, and understanding their business needs.Purpose of the roleTo grow and retain existing customer accounts through cross-sell and up-sell. To exceed targets whilst delivering excellent customer experience.Key Responsibilities
'€¢To exceed sales and retention targets for a specified group of accounts.'€¢To understand the role of technology in helping customers meet their business objectives. To enable the business to help the customer meet business needs and overcome its challenges. These could be creating competitive advantage, reducing costs, enhancing customer service, improving their digital propositions and capabilities, enhancing productivity or simply improving efficiencies.'€¢Strong contact planning and building of appropriate relationships with technical, business management, influencers and decision makers across the customer's organisation.'€¢Position the client to be the provider of choice for all relevant buying decisions and introducing appropriate specialist team people into this contact plan.'€¢Identify and develop high potential accounts and create targeted time-framed Account Development Plans (ADP) that are shared with the customer and internally with key stakeholders.'€¢Create an opportunity landscape by having a clear understanding of the customer's existing contracts for services we could supply with details of competitive landscape and contract end dates for key services. Equally understand existing revenues within the accounts, and what the risks, threats and opportunities are associated with these.'€¢Champion the customer perspectives and position internally; epitomising excellent customer service values in ensuring the customer is central to how we behave.'€¢Follow internal processes for forecasting, orders, pre-sales and updates.
