PHP Developer opportunity to join a Global Company developing their in house applications working alongside the Head Of Technology.

This is an opportunity to development of new features, API's and tools that will enable the organisation to continue to scale and grow globally. In this role, you must be able to work independently and will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our Symfony based legacy applications.

Required

* +3 years commercial experience in development.

* Strong OO PHP +5.3 (Symfony) + HTML5 and CSS3.

* Experienced in building RESTful API's.

* Experienced using BitBucket/GitHub for code management.

* Experienced with JavaScript frameworks - ideally Vue/React.

* Strong MySQL or comparable RDBMS knowledge.

* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to collaborate with team and third-parties, whilst multi-tasking several projects.

* Willingness to learn in a complex and evolving industry.

Desirable

* Python +2.7.

* Experienced with Command Line Interface commands.

* Experienced with using Docker.

* Experienced with AWS technologies (EB, EB CLI) or Google Cloud (BigQuery, Bucket).

Key Responsibilities

* Working with the Head of Technology on new development projects and support in gathering technical requirements.

* Provide maintenance and upkeep to legacy applications by developing new features or bug fixes.

* Willingness to travel outside of the UK for work.
