Database Administrator (SQL PostgreSQL Linux). Would you like to take on a technically challenging and stimulating role at a fast growing digital identification start-up in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to learn and continually improve your skillset?

As a Database Administrator you will join the team responsible for all aspects of database performance, integrity, replication and security across the production database environment. You'll respond to 1st and 2nd line support incidents and requests logged with the DBA team; assist the Senior DBA in the design and implementation of databases; ensure DBA documentation is up to date; take part in Disaster Recovery capability and testing and ensure the database security and permissions are managed according to best practice.

You'll be based in the City with a sociable, collaborative team environment and casual dress code.

Requirements:

*Strong SQL skills

*Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL

*Understanding of Linux based systems

*Understanding of database high availability, backup strategies, replication and disaster recovery

*Collaborative team member, keen to learn and share knowledge
