Front End Developer London to £65k

Front End Developer (JavaScript React RESTful API Node MongoDB). Would you like to remain hands on, take a lead role and work on complex and interesting systems using the latest technology within a modern microservices environment?

As a Front End Developer at this global games software house you will work with a range of technologies with a focus on Front End components and how they interact with APIs; you'll be creating Node end points that connect to MongoDB; writing automated tests for React and deploying using Docker. As a senior member of the team you will assume some Scrum Master duties, provide technical leadership, be empowered to make decisions / introduce new technology and focus on making improvements to the user experience.

You will based in fantastic offices with breakout areas, pool table, quiet work spaces, console games, fully stocked kitchen and flexible working hours; working collaboratively with a friendly and upbeat team, continually learning and advancing your career.

Requirements:

*Strong full stack web development experience with JavaScript (ES6, React.js, Web Pack) skills; HTML5 / CSS3

*Experience of writing automated tests; Jest / Mocha

*Strong RESTful API experience

*Experience of creating Node End points which connect to a MongoDB

*Good understanding of backend systems, ideally some Java or C++ experience

*Good knowledge of microservices and how to scale

*Understanding of caching, security issues and how to prevent them

*Collaborative team member with good communication skills and the desire to learn a share knowledge with others
