Developer - Backend

Location: Stockport or Louth

Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience

The role works closely with all members of the team, in order to create the architecture of the company's infrastructure, and assist developers in troubleshooting issues in running applications.

Primary purpose:

You will be working closely with Frontend, Core, Product and DevOps teams to develop and maintain technologies for the company's customer facing Ecommerce platform. This will require best practice, excellent coding standards and extensive testing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain main storefront applications for the companies E-Commerce platform.

* Design, maintain and implement applications to add to the ecosystem, especially mobile.

* Troubleshoot issues and incidents.

* Be actively involved in technical discussions revolving around new developments.

* Document work in order or other members of the team to understand and break knowledge silos.

Key Skills:

* PHP development experience (3 years)

* JavaScript/JQuery/JSON

* HTML/CSS

* Familiarity with building bespoke apps and API

* Experience writing, debugging and optimising MySQL Queries
