Interim Software Consultant / Head of Dev - UK Wide - 3 Month ContractMy client, a technology partner, develop a fully mobile solution for both online and offline working that runs on any device with a modern browser including tablets, laptops, or smartphone.
They are now in the process of hiring an Interim Software Consultant who has a strong background in working as a Head of Development, to conduct an internal review across the group on Software Development Effectiveness.
Responsibilities / Candidate Profile
- Ideally someone that has project history of building, managing and improving software development teams (25-30+ FTE's) across a number of companies, that deliver regular software releases to a large user base
- Working with the business to assess their current 3 x product roadmaps and improving productivity
- Sense check the current landscape (across 3 x locations) and make suggestions / recommendations on best practices compared to industry standards
- Suggest short term and long term realistic priorities for improvement
- Report back after 3 month discovery phase and if required implement a new strategy across the group
My client isn't looking for an Agile Purist or a Head of Dev, this role is specifically for someone that can work on a consultancy basis, to help the business deliver on 3 x separate roadmaps.
