Our North Yorkshire based client are looking for a Non technical software support specialist to work with their Financial solutions.

In this role you will be responsible for basic software support via phone and remote connection to customer systems.

Key responsibilities:

* Take customer calls to direct themon the correct use of software

* Deal with any basic enquiries as to how to use the software

* Ensure customers are kept updated through written and verbal communication.

* Follow the company's procedures when handling cases.

* Escalate any issues to the relevant team member if they become technical

* Be able to highlight potential escalation risks and organise additional requirements to aid the investigations.

* Comply with the company's information and security requirements and business procedures.

* Potential travel to customer sites to assist in the resolution of application problems.

* Occasional "out of hours" and also potential for weekend work as part of the 24/7 support.

The perfect candidate will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent analytic skills with the ability to approach problems logically. You will have a high level of customer focus and be able to talk customers through how to use various elements of the in house software.

Experience:

* Experience working in a customer service environment.

* Experience with key business processes.

* Basic experience of training customers on how to use financial software

* Experience of Microsoft Office.

* A high standard of communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

* Experience working with ERP/Finance/Procurement systems.

* Accounting qualification.

* Basic technical knowledge.

* Language skills in either French, German or Dutch.
