Lead Web Developer (Front End JavaScript React RESTful API CI/CD). Would you like to take a lead role at a technology driven start-up and be supported to progress your career to CTO?

As the Lead Web Developer you will collaborate with a small team of tech entrepreneurs to scale up the core platform which enables scientists and medical researchers to share academic papers and uses AI to recommend articles of interest, there is currently four million research papers available and is used by over three thousand institutions.

Initially you will take ownership of a project to completely re-engineer the UI using React. In time you will recruit a team around you and could progress to a CTO position if desired. You'll evangelise best practice and ensure that clean, well tested code is produced.

You'll be based in West London in modern offices with a range of facilities and flexible working.

Requirements:

*You have strong experience of developing web applications with JavaScript and React

*You have worked with RESTful APIs

*You have implemented CI/CD workflows

*You know how to assess and improve performance of front end applications

*You have a keen interest in technology and stay up to date with industry developments, new tools and techniques

*You're keen to take a leadership position where you can make a real impact

As a Lead Web Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £85k) plus significant bonus.
