Design Manager needed for a well driven construction and development contactor who are based in the north west. You will be joining a team of experienced and likeminded individuals who all have excellent track records working for Top contactors on flagship schemes. They have a passion for construction and are dedicated to growing the business and becoming a major powerhouse in the market.

The contractor focuses on several new build and refurbishments across Education, Health, Industrial, Retail and Commercial and find that their approach of providing a careful, tailored approach allows customers and clients to be completely satisfied with the contractor's solutions. They carry them out beyond expectations going above and beyond to deliver goals and objectives hence why the contractor now has a pipeline full of work with projects up to £250 million pound in value.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

* Maintains Company standards and procedures

* Provide and enable the delivery of well-considered quality design solutions

* Plan design workloads

* Provide motivation for your team to work together and produce great work

* Encourage and inspire fellow designers to produce their work at the best of their ability and stamp their identity on each project

* Identify and provide solutions to eliminate health and safety risks

Essential Criteria for applicant:

* 4+ years' experience as a Design Manager for a major build contractor

* Good knowledge on High-rise structures

* Be able to work under pressure situations

* Good communication skills

* Present ideas confidently and professionally

* Well organised with documents and time
