Experis IT are currently recruiting for a MI & Analytics Technical Lead to join one of our key clients based in Solihull. They are a FTSE 250 company who provider public services on a global scale with 50,000 employees worldwide. It's a very exciting time for the company's business intelligence and reporting function as we are looking to build and developer whole new team within the business from Manager through to analyst.

This is the key role for day-to-day and long term technical management of the MI&A Standard Service functionality and performance. It is responsible for the development and ongoing management of technical Architecture and High level design across the entire lifecycle, identifying and controlling technical costs of the service. They are actively managing consumer satisfaction with the functionality, developing short and long-term roadmaps for the service ensuring it continues to meet the business needs.

This role encompasses numerous activities from supporting service management in addressing systemic/design issues to acting as a cross-functional link across delivery teams, most prominently between Operations and partner/3rd party teams.

Responsibilities

* Works with partners/3rd parties and engineering teams to document practically how the technology is designed and deployed for the MI&A Standard Service, constantly working with the internal and external teams to improve technical configurations to improve performance.

* Provides technical data for MI&A Standard Service communications by defining Service Catalogue entries for the technical Architecture, Engineering Design and practical configuration information to support operations and solutions in consuming the services

* Provides detailed information for management by preparing short-term and long-term roadmaps covering all technical aspects of the service, working with Solutions and Partners/3rd Parties to improve detail and costings. In addition they are placed to answer ad-hoc management questions and requests around service performance.

Technical Skill

The Standard Service manager will have a detailed knowledge of the MI & Analytics market with particular focus on Enterprise Information management, data science tooling and self-service reporting tools, including but not limited to Data Warehousing (SAP BW), SAP BPC tools, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft PowerBi, Qlikview and other reporting platforms. My client is currently heavily linked to SAP and Microsoft information management and reporting platforms and experience with these is essential.

Technical Lead needs detailed experience of working within TOGAF aligned processes to a detailed level, to be able to deliver and manage the architectural designs within these frameworks
