As always with any advert I write, I'll aim to keep this to the point and with as little sales language as possible for everyone's benefit. I have a role for a UI Developer who likes to code available in Edinburgh working for an IT Consultancy, this role is based within the Scottish Government in Leith. Due to this role involving working directly with the Scottish Government on their site, stakeholder and client management skills are a key part of this role, essentially a personality. The team within the Scottish Government are by all accounts lovely, with a relaxed atmosphere and the option for flexible start times between 0730-1000.

In terms of technical skills, as I mentioned previously this is a UI Development role with a coding slant to it and less design, with design being more of a secondary function. There are a few key skills required for this role such as experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Javascript frameworks such as Angular, Vue or React. if you also have experience working with command line interfaces, Sublime, VMWare and coding GUIs then congratulations, you're a perfect candidate and you should definitely get in touch.
