Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from a packaging, production or industrial background to join a multi-national company offering professional technical and career progression as well as opportunities to maximise your earnings through overtime and annual bonuses.

This role operates on a Panama shift pattern, rotating between an afternoon shift (2pm to 10pm), night shift (10pm to 6am), morning shift (6am to 2pm), 12 hour days (6am to 6pm) and 12 hour nights (6pm to 6am). The beauty of this shift pattern is that you have over ½ the year off work which helps to give you a great work life balance! This company also shut down over Christmas, New Year and Easter to make sure their staff are well rested and enjoy the breaks.

In this role you will be required to maintain, install, modify, assemble and quality check all mechanical components of new and existing production/packaging machinery as well as any plant equipment with mechanical faults.

The ideal candidate will come from a production, packaging or industrial background with a mechanical maintenance bias and electrical understanding. Mechanical qualifications from BTEC - HNC will have an advantage in the process and are encouraged to apply.

*Mechanical maintenance, fault finding, modifications, installation and test experience

*Electrical competence

*BTEC - HNC Mechanical Qualifications or equivalent
