Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients.

We are looking for a Python Developer based in Warwick on an initial 6 month Contract.

Experience Needed as follows:

*Development of Graphical User Interface (GUI) in Python

*Data analysis and visualisation in Python (R is preferred but not essential)

*Development of non-standard scripts to facilitate process optimisation within DIgSILENT PowerFactory and integration with 3rd party software (preferred but not essential)

*Management of the maintenance & development of non-standard / bespoke software solutions

*To lead on SOPs and relevant process reviews on behalf of the team as necessary

*Produce (or oversee) / review / present relevant training material in relation to scripting and new software solutions

*Proficiency in Python programming and VBA is essential (R is preferred but not essential)

*Proficiency in GUI design in Python

*General power system knowledge especially transmission networks is desirable but not essential.

*Expert knowledge in data management and visualization techniques and flexible data exchange is desirable

*Process optimisation expertise is desirable

*Familiarity with DIgSILENT PowerFactory and integrated scripting functionality (to automate, for example, aspects of Load Flow Analysis) is desirable but not required.

*Proficiency in MS Access and data integration with other Microsoft Office applications
