£30,000 - £35,000 + DAYS BASED ROLE + Training + Progression + Holiday + Pension

Do you have experience working on continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment?

This company, based near Glasgow, specialise in all aspects of the window and blind industry in the UK, from production to retail. They are well-established and have been operating for over 50 years and carry out distribution in over 40 countries. Due to continuous growth and expansion, this company have now created this new position for a keen individual looking to grow with them and drive forward a new high preforming culture.

In this role you will be implementing process control measures in a new production line while looking after quality and processes within their manufacturing environment through management of quality processes, capability studies, control plans, process flow mapping and control charts and constantly working on continuous improvements of the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a role where you have been focused on improve the manufacturing output. Candidates who have been a manufacturing engineer, production engineer or process engineer are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

*Days based role- Monday to Friday

*monitoring quality processes within a manufacturing environment (fabric coating lines)

*Implement process control measures for a new production line

*working alongside the engineering team

*Carrying out continuous improvement measures to improve efficiency

The Person:

*Come from a manufacturing background

*Have experience in an improvements role.

*Knowledge of lean manufacturing

*Come from a relevant background (medical, electronics, pharmaceutical)

*Experience monitoring quality processes
