Role: Information Security Specialist

Location: Dublin City

Duration: 6 months

Day Rate: DOE

A Dublin business is seeking an experienced daily rate contractor to join the business and lead a PCI-DSS implementation over an initial 6 month period. There are a number of coinciding projects for the Information Security Specialist in this position.

The essential skills include:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar functions

- Experience in risk and vulnerability analysis and management

- Experience across application, network and system security

- Experience working both with operations and development teams

- Previous experience supporting auditing and compliance initiatives

- Preferred with security certification like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH

- Self-motivated, organised and autonomous

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required

Key responsibilities include:

- Vulnerability & Risk Management

- Lead the incident response and ensure that the right remediation is put in place

- Assist with the auditing and compliance initiatives (PCI-DSS, ISO, etc)

- Research and implement new security tools and processes to be use across the organisation

- Maintain an up to date knowledge of new security threats

- Security champion, evangelising security as part of the normal process of development and operations
