Role

The team manages and supports a wide portfolio of web based applications and IP Delivery services to deliver market leading technology. As part of this team you will be exposed to many different applications and technologies in a highly dynamic environment.

A highly-motivated and experienced contract IT professional is required to provide technical support with upgrading and migrating Applications between data centre's. Working as part of the global team, you will be ensuring the operational availability of services to our highly talented global community.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

* Planning and coordinating server migrations

* System upgrades to work in Docker containers

* Upgrade and service improvement of existing services

* Maintain technical documentation

* Maintain and enhance monitoring of services

Essential Technical Experience

* Oracle and MySQL Databases

* Perl, Python, Java and PHP programming experience

* Experience working with containers (Docker, Rancher)

* Linux & Windows Server Management

* Experience with configuration / troubleshooting web based technologies

* Experience with common open source tools

Desirable Technical Skills

* Experience working with dynamic HTML components: AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML.

* Atlassian Tools (Jira/Bamboo) experience

* Cloud based computing (Azure, AWS)
