Product & Propositions Manager

In this role you will be managing and supporting manage the design & build for the Clients consumer products and propositions based on sound customer insight and underpinning Individual Membership (IM) revenue & profitability growth, through acquisition, retention & up-sell/cross-sell. You will act as a product & proposition subject matter expert across all relevant projects.

Responsibilities

*Use member segmentation model to drive innovative proposition development and targeting to ensure that we deliver products and propositions that are customer focussed and profitable

*Delivery of improvements to the core breakdown product portfolio and proposition framework including;

*Phased go to market plan including legacy product rationalisation and migration to new products

*On-going management of existing IM products

*Product hierarchy, service levels and benefits

*Bolt-ons and cross-sell products

*Integration with the overarching membership proposition including member benefits & loyalty

*On-going measurement and review of propositions against commercial targets

*Deliver and manage cross-product, bundled propositions across all Clients products to increase product holding, value and retention

*Input to IT and Digital architectural strategy to match future customer & business needs with internal systems capability

*Ensure we 'treat customers fairly' in all our activities, adhering to any regulatory requirements and ensuring we put our customers first in our thinking and NPD

*Ensure all products, propositions and promotions are clear, fair and not misleading, are designed to meet the needs of consumers and are targeted and marketed accordingly.

Experience

*Deep experience of NPD and product & proposition management

*Good experience of consumer marketing, gained within a high-profile consumer services brand

*Evidence of delivery to market of profitable propositions based on sound insight

*Knowledge of financial services and ideally digital and retail sectors

*Experience of driving customer insight from a range of sources (traditional research, frontline touchpoints, data analysis etc.)

*Experience of managing commercial KPIs

*Experience of managing a product portfolio and the product lifecycle

*Strong cross-functional team management
