This leading Financial Services company are undergoing a full multi-year transformation in both business process, people, IT and technology. The aspiration to move from a ‘market leading Financial Services company' to become a ‘Tech company with Financial Services expertise' and is part of a wider move across to aggressively modernise.

They are looking for top tier Java / J2EE Developers to join a new team building E-Commerce applications from the ground up.

Key Technical Experience:

Extensive Java / J2EE Development

Spring framework (MVC, Dependency Injection, Data Access)

JDBC, XML, Junit, LDAP, Active Directory, Eclipse, Subversion, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, JQuery

Microservices

IBM Websphere Application Server

Cloud Technologies (Azure / AWS etc.)

Application integration with multiple platforms and data sources

Agile development methodology, SAFe, SCRUM, DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, document and deploy Java J2EE software components to deliver high quality solutions

Support all stages of the Java / J2EE Software development and deployment lifecycle including design, Build, testing, deployment and warranty

Offer technical guidance to less experienced members

Liaise closely with Third party software and Infrastructure providers to ensure the quality and suitability of their technical design and solutions including non-functional design and development considerations.
