Tech is at the heart of what our client does and will continue to be what sets them apart. Are you ready to help shape the next chapter in their history?

Our client is proud to say that they have just won the top award for Learning Provider of the year. If you haven't heard of them, they are a strongly successful and growing company with ambitious plans leading up to 2022 and beyond. A core part of our client's vision is to have the best possible products on the market and, as a digital learning provider, their technical engineers play a critical role in shaping their products and solutions that meet the needs of their clients in ever better ways.

Where you'll create impact

Our client is looking to build a new team of full stack developers. Their vision is ‘using creativity to help people learn and grow' and their developers embrace this mantra completely. In this role, you will be a tireless problem solver and come up with imaginative and ground-breaking ways to meet the needs of the modern learner. Our client is human, keeping people at the centre of their technical challenges and aspire to be the Google of the learning world.

You'll be used to people coming to you to solve technically complex conundrums, will possess the technical rigour and skills to engineer those solutions, and will have the confidence to work alongside a mixed team of front-end developers, content creators, UI designers, product owners and client stakeholders. You'll need to be passionate about creating the next generation of learning products and ready for the responsibility of working on industry-leading innovations that you'll help to define.

Our client works in a unique day-to-day environment featuring multiple technical aspects such as Learning Management Systems, SCORM, xApi, native and progressive web Apps, HTML5 microsites, phaser games, CMSs, data tracking and analytics. In addition, they have an exciting product and innovation map involving many new technologies that they want to exploit to enhance workplace learning.

Desirable skills and experience

Our client's software is currently written in HTML5 and CSS (using SASS/LESS) with a heavy dose of JavaScript (primarily Typescript, ES5/6, Node.js) so you'll need to feel comfortable with these languages. You might be familiar with working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue. Perhaps you also have an interest in Application Security, Behaviour or Test-Driven Development?

Our client is not too prescriptive about what you know, and you might have a greater interest in some of these technologies than others, but that's OK. If you know your Gulps from your Grunts, your Kues from your Rabbit MQs, and most importantly bring your passion for clean, efficient coding to deliver seriously creative solutions for some of the world's biggest brands, then our client would love to speak to you.

About our client

Our client works closely with some of the biggest global brands to unleash the potential of their people and deliver better workplace performance through creative digital learning. By harnessing the power of creativity, they enable businesses to access a new world of interactive experience to enthuse their people while they learn. They work from concept through to delivery and recruit for roles across their creative production areas, sales and marketing, HR and finance. With a strong collaborative culture, and ambitious growth plans there has never been a better time to get seriously creative and join their team.

Perks of the job

Our client can offer you a number of great benefits. From the things you would expect like a pension, income protection and death in service, to the slightly unexpected, like a day off for your birthday or free breakfast every day. They socialise and have a team dedicated to arranging get togethers and events throughout the year.
