A Senior Optical Engineer is required for an international company based in Edinburgh to working on cutting-edge switching products and laser drivers.

The Senior Optical Engineer will solve design issues with a view to take them through the full design cycle to market.

Experience within the data centre or telecoms industry would be beneficial.

As a Senior Optical Engineer you will hold a degree and on a day to day basis contribute to:

* Optical Design

* Photonics Design

* Simulation

Desirable:

* PhD

* Optical modelling (Zemax preferred)

* Test programming

* Telecoms experience
