Literature Review Specialist (Pharmacoepidemiology) to conduct Literature reviews as requested by the client using the best practice methodologies.Literature search and preparation of literature review report for Pharmacoepidemiology.Perform peer scientific review.Follow the processes and requirements as outlined in the client guidance document on Literature Reviews. To provide Literature Review Reports in format and quality as described in the client guidance document.To collaborate with the client epidemiologist(s) to define timelines for the literature reviews, to clarify questions, to provide feedback

Location: London + Remote

Rate: £370.00 per day

Duration: 3-6 months + scope

Essential Skills:

* Demonstrates depth and breadth of specialist knowledge of epidemiology and medical statistics

* Demonstrates awareness of the critical appraisal of epidemiological literature and of different study designscommonly used in epidemiologic studies

* Good Understanding of epidemiology

* Profound knowledge of epidemiological study designs and of statistics for a proper assessment of published study results

* Experience performing critical commentaries of studies (limitations, implications and conclusions)

* Ability to critically appraise and synthesize epidemiological literature

* Ability to write research reports and to effectively disseminate outcomes

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Fluent English (oral and written)

* Good team worker

* Good business ethics

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge of statistical programming principles, analysis methods and data resources, as well as indications for their appropriate use

Education:

Master/Doctorate level qualification in a subject relevant to Epidemiology or Medical Statistics or Public Health

Minimum 2 years of experience in doing literature reviews in Epidemiology or Public health projects
