ROLE PURPOSE:

(Accountabilities)

* Design and Build a new WC Partner Governance Process that incorporates opportunity engagement, risk assessment and remediation tracking.

* Resource and lead the new team with Cyber Assessment, Legal and Project support

* Works with Sales and Proposition teams

* Able to communicate with customers who may be resistant to assessment.

* Influence customers where action is needed to implement the client requirements

* Work with legal resources to influence customer contract wording

Present clear recommendations to business leadership and Compliance teams on the

Put a plan in place to assess and remediate risks with existing customers

Priortise work across the team, focusing on balancing the outcomes of risk, revenue and customer satisfaction.

Experience

* 10+ years' experience in one of the following; Auditing / Compliance / Risk & Governance / Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Project Management / Information Security

* 1+ year experience in Know Your Customer / Anti Money Laundering / Financial Crime experience would be an advantage.

Overview:

World-Check allows customers to identify risks associated to the customers they deal with. World-Check provides screening content and capabilities to fulfil regulatory requirements, which include anti-money laundering, bribery and terrorism. Customers use World-Check to review people and businesses that they may be planning to do business with and to assess if these entities are on any sanction lists or are politically exposed people (PEPs).

Certain partners re-distribute World-Check data to their own customers. The Partnership Governance team will be established to provide oversight and Governance over World-Check redistributors

The candidate will start and then run a growing team consisting of security analysts, legal resources and further project resource to ensure customer partners complete their compliance assessments and will ensure the contractual requirements client needs are in place.

The candidate will design and implement the end to end partner governance business processes needed to complete the customer assessments, assess risk / gaps, agree remediation plans with customers and follow up on progress to ensure gaps from the assessments are closed .

* Persistence - able to ask questions, to challenge responses if needed and ask for further detail. Not always to accept the first answer given.

* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.

* Ability to adapt to change and multi-task in a dynamic environment.

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

* Ability to travel (up to 25%).

* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Access) required
