Role: Weapon Integration (WOME)
Location: Bristol - Abbey Wood
Duration: 3 Year Contract
Rates: Negotiable
Security Clearance: SC/DV
Progress MODSAP Weapons tasking through DOSG. Provide draft safety advice for review and release from DOSG, in support of MODSAP weapons, ordnance, munitions and explosives (WOME) projects. Liaise with MODSAP, DOSG, clients and any other stakeholders to ensure the timely progression of WOME projects.
Must have:
* A good and wide understanding of weapons and their systems (non-aircraft).
* Good people skills.
* Knowledge of JSP520, Def Stan 59-114 and other weapon and energetic material standards.
Desirable skills, knowledge, capabilities etc
* Project engineering management skills.
* The ability to discuss with weapons manufacturers and suppliers.
* Live in or near Bristol and/or close to a railway station.
* Understand that trips to London are required.
