Role: Senior IT Engineer

Location: North Dublin

What you'll be doing as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

You will be working in the areas of Infrastructure and IT security, responsible for the operation of dependable and secure servers, networks and computing platforms. You will also monitor operating environments acknowledging and responding to incidents and problems that arise. You will troubleshoot incidents reported by users and provide support in aid of a high resolution fix rate. As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be involved in creating and reviewing cyber security standards and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on stats. You will be accountable for reinforcing firewall and web access, email services and retain secure systems. You will then too take part in operational and management review projects as well as meetings, and support the development of the Infrastructure and IT security team.

The experience you will need as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

* 5+ years within deploying/administering infrastructure solutions

* Proven ability to perform within the area of Cloud Computing and Cyber Security

* Relevant technical certifications preferred advantage (CISSP/CCNP/CCNA/MCSE/VCP)

What you will be working with:

* Microsoft Operating Systems

* VMware 5.5+

* Cisco Networking LAN/WAN

* Firewalls

* Citrix
