Software Engineer / Polyglot Developer (Python C++ Java Golang RESTful API microservices). Technology company that is developing a complex behavioural based modelling software is seeking a technologist Software Engineer. You will design and develop the core cloud based Platform-as-a-Service which is used for the development and deployment of data-driven agent-based models used to support strategic decision making.

You'll be using a range of programming languages with a focus on Python; data intensive microservice architectures; developing and maintaining RESTful APIs; working on Linux based systems (Ubuntu, Debian) as well as RDBMS / NoSQL databases.

You'll be joining an Agile development team that prides itself on producing quality code and partnering with data scientists within a collaborative, intellectually challenging environment.

Requirements:

*Degree educated, 2.1 or above - Computer Science preferred

*Strong software engineering experience including Python (Golang, Java, C++ also beneficial)

*Experience of developing and maintaining RESTful APIs

*Good knowledge of Linux based OS

*Familiar with data intensive microservices architectures

*Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills
