Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a graduate to provide Metallurgical, Destructive and Non Destructive Examination services to HM Naval vessels and customers

The Role

Once trained - You will conduct Metallurgical, Destructive and Non Destructive Examinations, accept/reject results and produce reports in accordance with applicable procedures. This includes the production of Production Technical Instructions and Procedures. You will assist the Engineering Inspection Manager in maximising the utilisation and the efficiency of all the Metallurgy resource.

You will ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company's cost, time and quality requirements. You will be responsible for the implementation of the Company Safety, Quality and Environmental policies in the Metallurgy area of the business ensuring that assessments of risk are carried out which lead to safe working attitudes and practices. You will support the Engineering Inspection Manager to deliver the main objective and purpose, and represent the Engineering Inspection Manager when required. As a Radiation Protection Supervisor, ensure the necessary legislative requirements and standards are met.

We are looking for candidates who have graduated within Materials Science, Metallurgy or Engineering and would be keen to pursue a career within this industry:
