Software Engineer / Backend Developer (Go / Golang Linux Distributed Systems). Innovative, award winning technology-to-technology start-up is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to help create cutting edge software based storage systems.

As a Software Engineer you'll be joining a small, focussed team of technologists working on complex and interesting real-word issues utilising Golang amongst other languages such C / C++. The systems are Linux based, built on Docker and also incorporate Open Source technologies such as Kubernetes, distributed key value stores and message bus.

Requirements:

*Strong commercial Go / Golang development experience

*Passionate technologist, keen to innovate, learn and share knowledge with others

*Strong OOP backend development experience (C++ / Java)

*Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, data structures and algorithms

*Good knowledge of Linux OS

*Keen to attend industry events / meet-ups and interact with users

*Interest in Open Source technologies and keen to work with the community

*Excellent communication skills

As a Senior Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £80k) plus stock options.
