**Integration Architect - Contract - London - Insurance**

A leading Financial Services client is looking for an Integration Architect is to support the collation of requirements, design of the integration architecture and definition of the implementation roadmap for the various solutions.

Skills

* Ability to engineer architecture designs from strategy requirements and in relation to various solutions, within a common integration framework based on Web API services

* Specific understanding of integration challenges and requirements

* Analysis of complex business problems, environments and synthesis of design requirements.

* Recommending technical component and approaches to meet design requirements

* Ability to understand integration solution designs and aspirations and marry these up with principles and architecture

Knowledge

* Architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF

* Knowledge of the ACORD messaging framework is desirable

* Other supporting enterprise technologies and standards e.g. security, SSO, service oriented architecture, common services such as scheduling, identity management and monitoring

* Awareness of technologies and trends e.g. Blockchain, NoSql, Machine Learning

* Knowledge of the London Insurance Market

Experience

* Several years of experience working in the IT and Business Architecture domain

* Demonstrable experience of thinking strategically to envision, design and deliver architecture design

* Experience of synthesising requirements from multiple stakeholders

* Experience over several software development lifecycles from inception to operational support

* Experience working to coordinate or architect solutions across a programme of work (multiple projects)

* Experience in formulating new business architectures

* Experience of integrating numerous enterprise components in a cloud environment

* Previous experience working with the London Market and or in the wider Insurance industry is desirable
