Excellent role on offer for an experienced Construction Manager looking to join a market leading Engineering / Construction company who focus within the Food and Pharmaceutical industries from a fully commercial standpoint.

Are you a construction Manager with good all round knowledge? Do you want a role where you handle projects from launch through to finish?

The client is well known for retaining and looking after their staff, and due to on-going success are now looking for a new Construction Manager

In this role you will manage all aspects of project execution, primarily within a clean room environment, issue and follow up project schedules, handle budget control and cost to completion forecasts. You will also deal with customers, monitor supplies and manage a team of 12 tradesmen.

The role:

* The main role is to effectively plan and control all site-building operations according to the safety and hygiene requirements of the particular production area and the contract programme.

*Maintain standards of quality, which are specified and ensure that the appropriate methods of quality controls are implemented on site.

*A full understanding of the CDM Regulations is necessary, as safe working practices are an essential and dominant element of the group culture.

The person:

*Must have dealt with construction projects focused on providing for the food and pharmaceutical industries

*Must live in commutable distance to West London, be happy to travel Nationwide and be prepared to be totally flexible in terms of working patterns which can often demand seven day working.

*HNC/HND in construction or similar, CCN Management would be a bonus

*CDM regulation knowledge
