What you'll be doing

You'll be accountable for the end to end delivery of IT services to our user community. This includes the delivery of IT programmes and ongoing enhancements to existing services. You'll shape the appropriate approach to get the desired outcomes, delivering using agile collaborative service teams.

You'll be responsible for managing project resources throughout the portfolio of services IT provide, in line with Trust strategic priorities. You'll manage stakeholder and sponsor communications, providing effective reporting across the organisation. You'll be accountable for delivering projects and change to the very highest standards through effective planning, prioritisation and communication.

You'll be managing capacity across IT and the wider Trust to ensure scarce resources are utilized effectively, and are available to implement change when needed. Implementing agile delivery of user centric services across the Trust, ensuring we achieve our vision - that IT will equip the Trust with the technology and information services we all need to do our jobs confidently.

Who we're looking for

Experience of diverse PM, Program Management of multiple projects, BA roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major and multiple complex projects and programs

IT PM experience working on migration, Integration, Major Systems upgrade projects is essential.

Experience in complex, multi-site delivery projects

Strategic thinker can exploit opportunities to align to our strategies.

Strategic Direction - creates a vision for own area, supported by plans, roles and objectives.

Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and coordinate diverse teams fulfilling multiple concurrent demands to time, cost and quality.

Ability to build a positive team climate, set clear objectives and readily share information.

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, written and verbal including the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

Planning and organising - prioritize workload for the team and build plans.

Ability to negotiate, influence and manage expectations of executive board members and senior leadership teams.

Self-motivated with the enthusiasm and drive to ensure activities are completed.
