Software Engineer (PHP 7 Laravel). As a Software Engineer you'll be designing and developing complex, data centric systems to assess Risk within the energy trading markets; the product is highly successful and being used by 90% of the top banks and finance companies in the UK.

The company is technology driven and champions the use of new and innovative technologies; you'll be encouraged to make recommendations and use the best tool for the job as well being an active member of the developer / Open Source community. There's a mix of Greenfield projects, new features, refactoring exercises and bug fixes so each Sprint offers something different; clean coding, TDD and DDD are key.

Requirements:

*Experience with PHP 7.1 (including at least one framework: Symfony, Zend, Laravel)

*Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, SOILD design principles, Data Structures, Dependency Injection

*Advocate of TDD / BDD, write tests before code

*Business acumen and happy to liaise with clients directly

*Degree educated
