Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit an Integration Lead for an initial 18 month contract based in Edinburgh on a rate of c.£425-475/day (outside of IR35).

The Role:

The organisation are aiming to put in place a Corporate Management Information System (CMIS) that will support and enable strategic and operational decisions to be taken based on current and consistent information. They are implementing Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM, migrating from a range of legacy systems including Integra and NgA Resourcelink.

Responsibilities:

* Manage multiple, end-to-end integration exercises, working with customers to identify business value, priorities and risks.

* Design, implement and drive integration processes and procedures.

* Data extraction and transformation rules from existing systems to be replaced in collaboration with the organisation's IT Team.

* Integrate Windows Active Directory with Oracle Cloud to enable Single Sign-On (SSO).

* Identify and ensure that relevant governance (including GDPR etc.) is appropriately considered.

* Apply business rules around data and records management, including retention policies etc.

* Liaise with Service Desk and Application Support colleagues to establish Business-As-Usual (BAU) procedures for recording and resolving issues and requests.

* Work with HR/Finance to establish similar processes for resolving business issues/queries.

* Map business processes and data from current platforms to CMIS and vice versa.

* Information on and access to existing applications that will remain (i.e. applications that will need to integrate with the Oracle Cloud platform).

* Conduct Interface Testing and management of 3rd parties.

* Conduct IT admin training following training from Evosys.

Requirements:

* Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Products - Fusion ERP and HCM.

* Knowledge of integration APIs between the above products/platforms, including cloud.

* Knowledge of best practice data encryption of data being transported between platforms/products.

* Experience of using data migration/ETL tools

* Relevant experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, and translating requirements into an integrations strategy.

* Proactive analysis and problem solving skills.

* A track record of working in change environments.

* Proficient knowledge of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio).
