Quality Engineer

Newport

£30,000 - £33,000 + Training + 25 days' holiday + up to 10% Pension + Life Assurance + Half Day Friday

Excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join an international company which is continuing to expand and move into new markets while offering the chance to train in a specialist field and work with advanced technology.

The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in sub-contract manufacturing processes for various industries. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for a Quality Engineer following a recent internal promotion to help with their expansion and join their site in Newport.

The core responsibilities of this role will be the management of data cards and documentation, maintaining the sites product and process quality standards as well as supporting lean initiatives and continuous improvements. You will be reporting to the Quality Manager.

The right candidate will have previously worked in a quality environment with strong knowledge quality standards from a relevant background.
