Up to £60'000 DOE + Training, Bonus, Development, Healthcare, Excellent Pension and Benefits.

Excellent opportunity on offer for a project manager who is looking for a challenging and autonomous role, working within a company who offer you the chance to take control and lead projects across multiple sites including some overseas manufacturing plants.

Do you have a strong engineering background built up within an FMCG environment? Do you have experience of Good Manufacturing Practices?

Established early 1900's this blue-chip company have been manufacturing within the UK for over 50 years, they turn over $4.5 billion a year. Due to continuous growth and aggressive expansion plans, they now require an additional Engineering Project Manager to join their central engineering team.

In this role you will be identifying, engineering and delivering projects across multiple manufacturing sites, you will be working closely with the divisional central engineering group, ensuring alignment on technology choices. The role will require successfully building partnerships and capability in others, including experience of planning and leading vendor acceptance testing. You will deliver projects from the concept through execution and start-up.

The ideal candidate will understand GMP, be able to drive the solutions to reduce cross contamination and maintain high quality products. If you are from Pharmaceutical, Food or Cosmetics you are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

* Engineering Project Manager (Mechanical or Electrical)

* Managing Capital projects over multiple manufacturing sites, including some overseas travel (10-30%)

* Delivering projects from concept through execution and start-up

* Manage 3rd party equipment vendors in customisation of equipment for plant usage

* £60'000 + 15% Bonus, Training, Development, Pension and Excellent Benefits

The Person:

* Project Manager within an FMCG environment

* Has an understanding of GMP

* Has delivered capital projects across multiple sites

* Has the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Wants to leave their mark on a blue-chip company.
