Procurement Consultant / Procurement / Property /Facilities / London / Permanent / 35-40k

My client, a Real Estate and Facilities Management organisation are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Consultant to join their team in central London. You will joining an existing team to help develop and deliver leading edge facilities management solutions with a particular focus on procurement.

Responsibilities:

*Follow the agreed procurement processes meeting both BS8572 and RICS Professional statement for both procurement and service charge procurement

*Responsible for assisting the Head of Procurement on Procurement Strategy

*Manage RFI processes and provide supply chain support

*Assist the Head of Procurement to manage RFP processes, including, analysis, documentation, reporting and liaising with the clients

*Responsible for management of a web based procurement portal (provided by third parties) ensuring agree timescales are met.

Skills and Experience:

Experience

*Previous procurement consultancy experience

*Preferably Property Investor and Property Occupy client experience

*Understanding of public sector procurement

*Strong procurement knowledge with an understanding of the full procurement lifecycle

*Supply chain management experience

*Facilities management knowledge

*An understanding of contract law

*Experience of using a procurement portal

Skills:

*Good analytical skills

*Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

*Must have good IT Skills and good all round ability to use all Microsoft office packages including Project,PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Qualifications:

*CIPS part qualified

*Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement
