Graduate / Junior BI Data Insight Analyst

Experis IT are currently recruiting for a Graduate / Junior BI Data Insight Analyst to join one of our entertainment clients based in Birmingham. As a Junior / Graduate Data Insight Analyst you will turn data into information using algorithms and machine learning, focusing on how they can use data science to improve our customer experience.

Responsibilities

* Designing and developing insight solutions that make a real difference to users

* Developing scripts to extract data from data warehouse (SQL)

* Working closely with Analysts and Business Partners in converting business requirements into robust implemented solutions

* Identifying opportunities for constructing innovatively-blended datasets to provide a platform for effective analysis

* Contributing to the growth of the team's understanding of data concepts and structures

Technical Skills

* Maths/Physics/Computer Science graduate

* Exposure to relational databases and SQL

* Exposure to programming language(s) such as Python, JavaScript, R

* Astute; high level of attention to detail

* The ability to present results using clear and engaging language.

* Confidence to grow into a business data expert

* Self-motivated to deliver robust, accurate data analysis to team members and the wider business
