Head of Engineering opportunity at a successful Blockchain Start-up.

As the Head of Engineering you will lead the engineering team to drive the business forward during an exciting period of growth. Based in London with global customers, you will lead a multi-disciplined team using exciting cutting edge technologies to develop the companies Blockchain platform and deliver on the product roadmap.

Working alongside the founder and product team you will work to grow your team whilst embedding a first class engineering culture.

Responsibilities include:

Working alongside the leadership team you will define technical and product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high-quality, secure software.

Maintaining a thorough understanding of a variety of emerging technologies and methodologies and how they might drive our growth.

You will drive technical innovation, processes and best practices required to deliver the platform at scale.

You will lead the technology strategy, architecture and delivery of the product on a global scale.

Inspiring, managing and helping build a world-class engineering team, building a culture of trust, continuous improvement and collaboration.

Skills required:

5+ years' experience of building and managing engineering teams

Ability to drive productive digital development through a period of rapid growth

Experience of working in a B2B SaaS and/or Blockchain startup

Active participation in a team's career development, having managed engineers' performance with appropriate mentorship and coaching.

Desirable

Recent experience developing software with some or all the following: modern Javascript (Node.js, React), Ruby on Rails, and Ethereum (solidity, web3.js, truffle).
