Are you a delivery manager, scrum manager or experienced developer who is looking to move to management while remaining technical ? Fed up with the lack of work-life balance that a 9-5 job offers?

Do you want to work in a genuine Agile environment on the latest technology with a wide variety of Dev Op and Collaboration tools and unparalleled access to Stakeholders and End Users?

Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Delivery/Scrum Manager to join a growing, multi-disciplined team where you can have a huge influence over the next few of years.

In the role, you will have an active part in continuously improving team culture as part of the corporate agile/DevOps vision, whilst helping identify and deliver measurable value and iterative products as part of our Digital Transformation.  As a Delivery Manager, you will contribute and help define the Technology road map for YHG.

Alongside a very competitive basic salary you will receive fantastic benefits including 33 days holidays (plus the option to buy more), a pension matched up to 8% and the ability to manage your own life with our agile working scheme - meaning you will no longer be tied to an office chair after an already hefty commute everyday of your working life.

This is a hands-on role where you will be challenged to develop the YHG hybrid architecture and ensure that the agreed approach is imbedded in the delivery of working software.

Responsibilities:

Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently

Work with the Product Owner to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories

Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team

Where applicable mentoring junior members of the team in your base discipline

Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production)

Actively participating in the Delivery Manager community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice.

To practically support delivery through hands-on coding and system configuration to expedite delivery across the team

Requirements:

Strong estimation and budget scoping skills

Experience in Agile Project Management methodologies

Familiarity with structured programme and project management environments

Experience in delivering digital services
