IT Service Desk TechnicianWorking within the IT Service Desk function the IT Service Desk Technician will help maintain a central point of contact providing frontline IT support and incident escalation services within the client's estate for its employees. With emphasis on customer service this position primarily focuses on the support function areas up to an including 2nd line with the opportunity to gain 3rd line exposure.Required Skills and Knowledge:
'€¢Proficiency in desktop support including remote users to install and maintain computers, software, and peripheral equipment'€¢Active Directory proficiency for system access and customer account administration'€¢Promptly responds to all IT related incidents presented to the IT Service Desk'€¢Maintains effective communication with the IT organization and customer base concerning network service availability'€¢Provision of ‘out of hours' support
Minimum Education / Experience:
'€¢Recognized qualifications in Computer Science, Business or a related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable'€¢5+ years of systems administration or technical support experience'€¢Experience of working within an IT Service Desk function and administrating an Incident Management System is highly desirable
