Role:
Our client is a retail and membership specialist which offers solutions to some large, instantly recognisable brands. The company is expanding its client base and so is looking for a full stack developer (PHP, Laravel, Javascript) to join a team of 4 other Developers at their office in Newcastle. This is a permanent role for someone who is looking to further their career in development; and for the right candidate there would also be opportunities to progress into a senior management or director role.
For the right candidate there is also the possibility of working remotely - you would still be required to visit the office at least 2 days every 2 weeks.
Full Stack Developer Requirements:
*A good verbal communicator who can work in a team and alone
*High level of technical ability (see technical requirements below)
*Someone who will play an active role - Getting involved in discussions, team meetings and whiteboard sessions
Full Stack Developer Technical Requirements:
*Minimum of 2 years experience using PHP (7.0+ preferred)
*MVC framework Laravel 5 (or similar e.g. Symphony or Zend Framework 2)
*Comfortable understanding of OOP
*Javascript (ECMAScript 6 preferred)
*Javascript framework Vue.js 2 (or similar e.g. ReactJS or Angular)
*Experience with MySQL
*HTML 5 and CSS 3
