Global Insurance company currently seeks an Technical Architect / Solutions Architect to be responsible for the design of finance systems architecture and its adoption across the enterprise with integration into targeted business areas.

The Technical Architect / Solution Architect will define solution architecture for various finance projects, aligned to the agreed target operating model and enterprise architecture, work with delivery teams to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and lead technical teams to deliver application transformation and modernisation for Finance systems. You will act as an enabler of Agile and DevOps practices in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams.

You will be required to create both high and low level technical design documents for use in Integration Architectures from Service Bus to API Mediation and Event Bus models for the use in the implementation of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS and hybrid models of leading Finance technologies and products in the market all hosted in the cloud (Azure/AWS)

We are searching for a Technical Architect / Solution Architect who has worked specifically on Finance Systems with knowledge of the leading Finance Systems technologies within the Enterprise market place. You will be an experienced Application Solution Architect able to provide both high and low level designs and be able to assist with the design of Integration Architectures from Service Bus to API Mediation and Event Bus models. You will have gained some experience with deployment of applications into cloud environments including Azure and AWS. You will possess exceptional communication and leadership skills and (ideally) hold a degree in Computer Science or similar although this is not essential.

You may have been working as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect and have designed enhancements to financial systems / planned systems integration with enterprise level Finance applications including Sage, JD Edwards, SAP, Workday or similar. You may have been working in the Insurance sector or wider financial services sector although experience from any medium to large scale environment can be considered.
