About Us

Westminster is dynamic, multicultural and unique - much like our employees. Committed to promoting, protecting and enhancing the many elements of Westminster that make it the natural tourist, political and social heart of London, we are proud to support the area and everything that it offers.  And with attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Covent Garden and Buckingham Palace to work with - plus a 24/7 nightlife and world-class shopping experiences - we really have got plenty to shout about.

 The Role

In this vital role, you will support our Adult Social Care Practitioners across Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in the use and development of IT systems that have been specifically created to support home care, case management and financial processes. Working flexibly to amend systems to reflect new business practices and legislative requirements, you will configure and maintain the administration modules, undertake system testing and provide a comprehensive helpdesk facility.

About You

You will excel in this team if you are capable of getting to grips with new IT systems quickly. With experience of ICT development and implementation (in either a project support or helpdesk role), you will have an understanding of social care processes and the correlating systems and data protection requirements. Your excellent communication and organisational skills will be matched by exceptional IT problem-solving capabilities, and you will have English and Maths GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent.

What We Offer

As a member of our Corporate IT Department, you will enjoy a generous benefits package that includes 26 days of holiday, rising to 30 days after 5 years of continuous service. You will also have the scope to accrue up-to one further day off per month, and a variety of others perks such as an interest-free season ticket or oyster card loan. Your ongoing career development is important to us too, so you will also have access to comprehensive technical eLearning materials and plenty of support from our friendly team.

If you're as productive as you are ambitious and collaborative as you are enterprising, this is your chance to take real ownership of your work, right in the heart of iconic Westminster, a true ‘City for All'. This is a unique place where it all happens. And where it could all happen for you.

As a progressive and innovative organisation, we welcome applications from candidates keen on working in an agile environment with flexible conditions.
