The Web Content Editor will be expected to:

*Use SharePoint to upload materials to three main websites.

*Edit content to ensure it is web friendly and complies with all standards and guidelines.

*Use Google Analytics to monitor the performance of web content.

*Liaise with internal and external partners in the creation of web content.

*Respond to general website-based enquiries from stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

*Experience in producing web content using a user-centred design approach.

*Proven skills in producing written communications material with excellent clarity and editorial accuracy.

*Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and to produce well-written reports and web content.

*Previous experience of managing web content using content management systems, metadata and taxonomies.

Desirable Skills:

*Technical experience in web technology including Google Analytics; and / or Microsoft SharePoint.

* Understanding and working knowledge of website standards and regulations including usability and accessibility.
