We are currently looking for a technical Business Analyst with energy market experience for our energy client in Essen

End: 31-07-2019

location: Essen

Language: English; German is a plus

Travels: ca. 5 Percent

Experience / Tasks:

Deep knowledge in Business Analysis

- Understand new flexibility products - TSO/ DSO and Spot Market (focus on German /UK energy market and balancing products)

- Analyse requirements and design business processes

- Create shared understanding / consensus amongst stakeholders

Implementation

- Implement business processes across different client units

- Implement logics of payments of various energy related products, preferably in Python and / or VBA

- Frequent progress reports to project management

Skills:

- Be able to set up and execute business processes across different client units

- Comfortable in dealing with numbers and have a strong logical thinking

- Be able to understand and implement logics of payments of various energy related products

- A strong independent work attitude

- Solid technical knowledge

- Strong experience as Business Analyst

- Deep knowledge in requirement analysis

- min 5 years of experience in German / UK energy market and balancing products

- Being able to set up and execute business processes across different client units

- Comfortable in dealing with numbers and have a strong logical thinking

- Be able to understand and implement logics of payments of various energy related products

- A strong independent work attitude

- Programming experience in Python, VBA

- Language: Fluent in English - German language would be a plus
