Medium sized construction and building services company, (part of major conglomerate) seeks a Business Analyst / Project Manager to assist with the transformation of their application environment: CRM, Finance, Procurement, Project Management (Construction), HR and multiple other systems. You will work in a predominantly BA capacity (70%) with additional responsibilities for delivery of new systems and projects (30%) in collaboration with another Project Manager.

The Business Analyst / Project Manager will engage stakeholders across the business at all level to elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Subsequently you will evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs and create functional requirements and UAT test plans to be used by software development teams and vendors who will customise enterprise level off-the-shelf solutions.

Following this you will work with the IT Director to select appropriate vendors across all core systems to be replaced and then work with the senior level management to secure buy-in. Whilst the majority of the Project Management work will be undertaken by another member of the team you will need to pick up on around 30% of this and be comfortable delivering projects within a mixed methodology environment: Agile/Scrum and PRINCEII.

We are searching for a Business Analyst who has gained experience as a Project Manager. You experience will be demonstrable in a similar environment where you will have delivered replacement applications for core business systems using off-the-shelf and vendor supplied models. You will have worked in medium-sized environments (100 : 500 : 1000 users) across multiple sectors (from): Construction, Building Services, Professional Services, Financial Services, Utilities, Telecoms etc. Ideally you will possess a formal BA qualification (BCS for example) and be experienced in both Agile/Scrum and PRINCEII environments delivering software applications and enhancements. Exceptional organisation and communication skills essential.
