Job Title: Monitoring Analyst

Location: London

Salary: £23,500 pro rata

Job Type: Part time, Permanent (2 days per week)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

* To collect, record and analyse monitoring data for all their projects and grants. Prepare regular reports summarising outcomes for their young people and progress against objectives and targets for each project and grant

* To monitor and interpret relevant information to improve behaviour and attendance, prevent exclusion, to identify and address barriers to learning for young people still in school

* Evaluate the impact of interventions, maintain electronic records and provide regular reports on activity to inform future practice

* To ensure that casework records are kept in line with service expectations and agreed operational policy, practice and procedures for effective audit and service efficiency

* To champion the needs and aspirations of disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in ensuring they receive a high quality education and that their voices are heard and responded to

* To ensure the achievements of young people at The Company are recognised, acknowledged and celebrated by everyone working with and for them

* Develop constructive professional relationships with internal colleagues and across education, young people and troubled families sectors

* Research areas of development surrounding disadvantaged and vulnerable young people and troubled families

* Keep up to date of new developments, best practice and the professional and regulatory framework relating to education liaison and outreach

* Undertake such other duties as may be required reasonably by the Chief Executive

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

* Degree in any discipline or equivalent higher education qualification

* Knowledge of the secondary education and alternative education sectors, further and higher education

* Knowledge of the national education and IAG agenda

* Previous experience working with young people or young adults

* Previous experience of event management and organisation

* Knowledge of curriculum development

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Excellent organisational and administrative skills

* Excellent presentation skills

* Ability to motivate and communicate well with young people and stakeholders

* DBS disclosure

* Enthusiastic, outgoing and committed to the principles of education, alternative education, further and higher education

* Flexible and creative in approach to work, be able to travel and work away from home

* Able to work in a team and on own initiative

* Results-oriented
