Our client based in Bury St Edmunds is looking to hire an experienced software developer / Applications Developer to join their team! This role will see you working in a team of developers working on a variety of projects for the business. Working alongside the business analyst, project managers, testers and product owners this role will see you creating clean, reusable code and mentoring more junior members of the team .

Core responsibilities of this role include:

*Working a part of a team to develop projects for the wider business.

*Making sure all developments are scoped, delivered and tested as well as delivering in a fast moving business environment.

*Being the technical lead for new projects and initiatives as well as mentoring juniors.

*Programming application functionality in a team environment.

*Providing architectural analysis and input.

*Unit Testing Software functionality.

*Creating and maintaining application and project documentation.

To be successful in this role you should have previous experience working in a software development role and have technical skills in:

*C#, HTML5, MVC, JavaScript, JQuery and other Web technologies and Web API

*Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 / T-SQL (views and stored procedures)

*Agile/SCRUM experience

*Entity Framework

*In depth knowledge of up to date development methodologies and technologies.

Any experience in the following would be advantageous but not essential:

CSS / SSIS, SSRS / Octopus Deploy / TFS and TFS Build Manager / Microsoft Dynamics CRM (2011/2013/2015) / VB.Net / knowledge of JSON, XML, ASP, Ajax, ASP.NET
