Linux Systems Engineer / Aspiring AWS DevOps Engineer - Coventry - £30,000 - £60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits package

Linux, VMware, Scripting, Python, AWS Fundamentals - full training provided

Working on behalf of our client based in Coventry who are undertaking huge transformation and growth we are current seeking an Aspiring AWS DevOps Engineer. You will likely have come from a Linux Systems Background (HP-UX, RedHat, RHEL,) and have strong scripting experience. You will have likely had theoretical knowledge or a fundamental understanding of AWS but will have not necessary had the opportunity to utilise this in a formal environment.

My client are willing to take these skills (or a more experienced individual looking for growth) and offer full training within an experienced team to become a fully-fledged AWS DevOps Engineer with skills in Python, CHEF, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform etc.

What do we need?

* Team Player, Willingness to invest in funded self-study (study time will be provided)

* Background as a Linux Administrator with scripting experience

* BASH, Shell scripting, knowledge but keen to Learn Chef, Puppet, Etc

* Fundamental knowledge of AWS (Core, Amazon Infrastructure)

* Good understanding of networking concepts such as IP Subnets, Security groups NACL, routing etc
