An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a leading building services company in Manchester. Established nearly 30 years ago, they specialise within the local authority sector. This rapidly growing, privately owned company design and install systems to enhance heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) for NHS trusts, Universities and Pharmaceutical companies.

This role will suit candidates who want to join a solid, robust company which has built its reputation on technological innovation.

As a Project Manager, your daily duties will include:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager.Being office based, travelling to sites in the UK to conduct site surveys and RAMS.Specifying and procurement of equipment including HVAC, AHU's, ductwork, electrical installation.Specifying M&E and specialist building/construction subcontractors.Managing the project from the conceptual phase to full installation and commissioning.Liaising with main contractors.Carrying out close out meetings and final sign off for multiple projects. To be a successful Project Manager, you will have the following skills and experiences: 
Experience working within an industrial engineering, building services, construction or contracting environment.Strong knowledge of HVAC installations is beneficial but not essential.Excellent communications skillsCommutable to Manchester. Your working hours will be Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:00.

In return, you will receive a salary of £37,000 -£43,000 per annum plus a bonus circa £5,000 - £7,000. You will also receive a company car (A4/3 series) + Mobile + Laptop and 5% contributory pension.
